The RN will manage Phase 1 and Phase 2 perioperative care for a 50/50 adult/pediatric unit. Hours are Mon-Fri 0600–1930 with varying shifts; no holidays or weekends; optional Saturday call may be

Qualifications

• IL RN license required.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with BSN completion plan.
• CPR and ACLS current; PALS preferred.
• One year Preop/Postop PACU experience.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and optimal experience.
• Deliver and coordinate comprehensive patient care across the care continuum.
• Provide pre/post surgical care for Phase 1 and Phase 2 perioperative needs.
• Care for a unit that is 50% adult and 50% pediatric.
