Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will provide preoperative and postoperative care, coordinate patient care, and ensure a safe environment using evidence-based practice and compassionate communication.

Unit population is 50% adult and 50% pediatric; schedule is M-F 0600-1930 with varying shifts, no holidays or weekends, and optional Saturday call. Requires IL RN license; BSN preferred or ADN with BSN completion plan; CPR and ACLS; PACU

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Current IL RN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with agreement for BSN completion within four years.
• Current AHA CPR and ACLS; PALS preferred or completed within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum of one year Preop/Postop Care in PACU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative care in Ambulatory Surgery Center.
• Deliver patient-centered care and coordinate across teams.
• Respond to patient needs and ensure safety and infection control.
