Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Coral Springs is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to support ambulatory care, performing nursing assessments, triage, and care planning within an ambulatory setting.

You will collaborate with physicians, care coordinators, and patients to ensure safe transitions of care, administer medications, and provide patient education. The role requires a Florida RN license and BLS; ACLS if applicable, with a day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN) and current RN licensure.
• Provide professional nursing care to a specified group of patients in ambulatory care settings.
• Perform telephone triage and notify physicians of abnormal findings.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status by completing a nursing assessment.
• Perform telephone triage.
• Notify physicians/LIPs of abnormal findings.
• Establish a care plan in collaboration with patient, family, and health care team.
• Collaborate with care coordinators for transitions of care.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician/LIP and monitor response.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Provide health education to patients and families.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt and document education to learning needs.
• Participate in quality initiatives and patient safety efforts.
