Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Ambulatory GYN department in Coral Springs, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care across ambulatory settings. You will perform nursing assessments, triage calls, and collaborate on care plans to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Requirements include ADN or BSN, one year of RN experience, and Florida RN licensure with BLS; ACLS is preferred for areas with moderate sedation and cardiac testing.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Graduate from ADN or BSN program.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status by completing a nursing assessment.
• Perform telephone triage.
• Notify physicians/LIPs of abnormal findings.
• Establish a care plan in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
• Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician/LIP and monitor patients for response.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Provide health education to patients and families.
• Participate in quality initiatives and research activities to improve patient outcomes and safety.

About This Role

As an RN in the Ambulatory GYN department, you will provide professional nursing care to patients in various ambulatory care settings, ensuring exceptional patient experiences and outcomes.

What You'll Do

Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required

Experience

• One year of recent experience as an RN required
• OR LPN, Medical Assistant, and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred for areas performing moderate sedation procedures and/or cardiac stress testing
