Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) in Bethesda, MD is seeking an RN Triage Nurse to join our Internal Medicine team. This role focuses on triage of urgent symptoms, patient education, and coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team.

You will provide nursing care, respond to MyChart messages, and support regulatory and operational needs while delivering high-quality patient care in a busy ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• 2 years nursing experience preferred.
• Internal Medicine, Med/Surg, ambulatory care experience are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Triage and coordinate patient care for Internal Medicine patients.
• Provide patient education for acute and chronic conditions.
• Respond to incoming calls and MyChart messages requiring triage.
• Support regulatory and operational issues and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) is seeking an RN Triage Nurse to join our Internal Medicine team at our Downtown Bethesda location. This is your chance to work alongside world-class Johns Hopkins nurses and staff, with exceptional benefits and countless opportunities for professional growth.

The RN provides and coordinates care to patients. Employs the nursing process to obtain objective and subjective data about the patient and develop a plan of care. Responds to incoming patient calls, and MyChart messages requiring triage of urgent symptoms. Provides patient education for acute and chronic medical conditions. Supports the practice as needed for regulatory and operational issues. Guides and advises other interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes. Collaborates with quality management and case management teams to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelors' Degree, Associate degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
• CPR - Basic CPR (Required)
• Two (2) years of nursing experience (Preferred)
• Internal Medicine setting experience (Preferred)
• Med/Surg experience (Preferred)
• Outpatient/ambulatory care nursing experience and/or in patient acute care is a plus.

Salary Range

Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
