Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group in Tacoma, WA is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing and oversee nursing services across units. This role includes supervisory responsibilities, policy oversight, and collaboration with the medical team.

The ADON will supervise unit managers, monitor infection control, participate in surveys, assist with staffing, review policies, and ensure care is delivered per individualized care plans in accordance with

Qualifications

Current RN license in good standing.
Skilled Nursing Facility experience (1 year).
Nursing leadership/management experience (1 year).

Responsibilities

Oversee Unit Manager on each unit and resolve resident care issues.
Monitor infections and coordinate infection control education with Facility Educator.
Assist with facility surveys by government agencies.
Assist in determining staffing needs and assign adequate nursing staff per shift.
Review nursing policies and procedures annually.
Interview and select nursing staff with Director of Nursing and Administrator's approval.
Complete yearly performance evaluations for nurses and nurse aides.
Ensure care is delivered per resident wishes and individualized care plans.
