Job summary

Aspire Senior Living is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to join our leadership team. You will partner with the DON to provide clinical leadership, oversee nursing operations, and drive quality and regulatory compliance across the community.

You will champion infection prevention and wound care programs, mentor staff, and ensure resident-centered care. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with physicians, families, and an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, ideally in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or senior living.
• Previous nursing leadership, supervisory, Unit Manager, ADON, or similar experience preferred.
• Experience with infection prevention, surveillance, wound care, and pressure-injury prevention in long-term care.
• Infection control practices, wound assessment/documentation, antibiotic stewardship, and regulatory requirements knowledge preferred.
• Infection Preventionist training/certification preferred or willingness to complete training.
• Strong knowledge of nursing standards, clinical practices, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement.
• Understanding of long-term care regulations and survey processes preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop nursing professionals.
• Ability to collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with EHR and healthcare software.
