Job summary

Hampton Nursing and Rehab seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), RN to support the Director of Nursing in leading the nursing department and delivering high-quality resident care.

You'll mentor RNs, LPNs and CNAs, help ensure adequate staffing, oversee clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement and regulatory readiness. This role requires Michigan RN licensure and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Michigan RN license.
• Experience leading nursing teams in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of state and federal long-term-care regulations.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily nursing operations.
• Provide clinical leadership to RNs, LPNs and CNAs.
• Help ensure adequate staffing and nursing coverage.
• Monitor resident care and document changes in condition.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Support regulatory readiness and survey activities.
• Review incidents and clinical concerns.
• Coach staff on clinical standards and policy.
