Job summary
Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boynton Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations. The ADON will help ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staffing effectiveness, and strong clinical practices.
The ideal candidate is an RN with prior Infection Prevention experience and supervisory background in skilled nursing or related healthcare settings.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, active Florida RN license.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Previous Infection Prevention (IP) experience required.
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience in healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of nursing standards, regulatory requirements, QA, and resident care practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing with daily nursing department operations.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure staff follow job descriptions, policies, and regulations.
- Conduct daily nursing rounds and monitor resident care quality.
