Job summary

Panacea Health Corp is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Registered Nurse (RN) for its Columbia, PA location. The role requires evening shift supervision, on-call rotation, and leadership across the nursing service department.

The ADON will supervise the 2nd shift, handle admissions during evenings, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the DON in budget, staffing, and quality initiatives. An active RN license and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

RN licence required and active.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital or nursing facility.
Minimum 6 months experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices.
Knowledge of nursing practices, laws and guidelines for nursing facilities.
Post-offer background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Assist the DON in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing daily nursing service operations.
Ensure reference materials are current in nurses' stations.
Assist in developing nursing service organizational structure and reporting.
Review and revise policies to support nursing services and care residents.
Coordinate nursing with other resident services for continuity of care.
Assist in discharge planning and plan the nursing portion of the resident's discharge.
Monitor quality indicators and report to the DON for corrective action.
Support staffing information posting and daily rounds to ensure staffing adequacy.
