Moorings Park is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to join our team in Naples, FL. The ADON will report to the Director of Nursing and provide hands-on leadership to ensure high-quality resident care with dignity and respect for each resident’s individuality.

The role emphasizes supervision, staff development, and collaboration with the DON, ADON, and MDS to improve patient outcomes and meet survey readiness. Florida RN licensure is required and geriatric LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Current Florida RN license in good standing.
• 3 years of nursing experience with progressive supervisory responsibilities.
• Geriatric nursing experience in a long‑term care setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee nursing care for residents and supervise interventions.
• Lead meetings, committees, and staff development initiatives.
• Provide coaching and guidance to nursing staff and ensure quality of care.
• Develop and update resident care plans and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor unit performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, residents, and families.
• Escalate critical issues to the DON and recommend resolutions.
• Participate in survey readiness and compliance activities.
