Job summary

Wilora Lake Healthcare seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join the leadership team. The RN will lead clinical management, mentor staff, and ensure care excellence for residents.

The role requires a current RN license, CPR, and 3+ years of nursing with at least 1 year in management, plus knowledge of regulations governing nursing homes. A sign-on bonus is offered along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience with similar resident population.
• At least one year of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal nursing home regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical staff.
• Help achieve nursing department goals and educational programming.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards of practice.
• Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff per staffing plans and regulations.
• Collaborate with department heads to promote interdepartmental relations.
• Develop and monitor documentation systems.
• Provide direct patient care when needed and interact with residents and families.
• Propose innovative ideas to improve outcomes.
