Job summary

River Grove Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to guide our nursing team in delivering high-quality resident care. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, staff mentoring, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

You will oversee daily operations, infection control, staff education, scheduling, and collaboration with the Director of Nursing to uphold regulatory standards and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care.
• 2 years of management experience preferred.
• 1 year of staff education experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations to ensure safe, high-quality resident care.
• Coordinate Infection Control and regulatory compliance activities.
• Provide ongoing staff education and in-services.
• Participate in recruitment, hiring and onboarding of nursing staff.
• Manage daily staffing levels and coverage.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to improve resident outcomes.
