Wilora Lake Healthcare in Charlotte, NC is seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This role suits a compassionate RN with strong leadership and a commitment to high-quality resident care.

You will oversee education, staff development, policy compliance, and recruitment, while providing direct resident care as needed and helping drive innovative care improvements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state.
• RN degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum three years nursing experience with similar resident population.
• At least one year of management experience.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal nursing home regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management and staff.
• Participate in developing and achieving nursing department goals and educational programming.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
• Recruit, hire, and retain nursing staff per staffing plans and regulations.
• Collaborate with department heads to promote interdepartmental relations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor documentation systems.
• Provide direct resident care as needed and interact effectively with residents and families.
• Drive innovative ideas and processes to improve outcomes.
