Job summary

The Palace Healthcare and Rehab Center in Red Boiling Springs, TN is seeking an experienced RN ADON to lead our clinical team and partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations, mentor staff, promote clinical excellence, and maintain our deficiency-free survey standards.

We are looking for a compassionate, collaborative leader with a TN RN license and strong skills in staff education, communication, and program development.

Qualifications

• Current TN RN license required.
• Min. 2 yrs. exp. in Long-Term Care settings.
• 2 years of management experience preferred.
• 1 year of staff education experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision.
• Flexible hours required.

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing medical needs of all residents.
• Responsible for coordinating infection control.
• Responsible for educating the staff.
• Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
• 24 hours on call.
• Coordinate and direct the total planning for nursing services.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff.
• Oversee the daily staffing process. Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs.
