Job summary

Arbors of Ohio seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing and supervise nursing staff at Arbors at Carroll. This role coordinates between units, plans meetings, and ensures resident care issues are addressed with a focus on quality and compliance.

The candidate should have seven years of nursing experience with two years in supervision; BSN preferred, RN license in Ohio, CPR certification. We offer competitive wages and a patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN license in the state employed; CPR certification.
• Seven years of nursing experience; two years supervisory in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between nursing units, admissions, and the DON.
• Plans and facilitates meetings to address resident care issues.
• Monitors and audits nursing charts and documentation weekly.
• Ensures competency evaluations and performance reviews are completed in a timely manner.
• Plans and guides professional development of nursing staff.
• Represents the DON in meetings and oversees nursing operations in DON’s absence.
