Job summary

Midtown Center for Health and Rehab is seeking an RN Educator who will lead staff development, welcome new hires, and deliver engaging in-services to ensure team members are prepared, empowered, and appreciated from day one.

As our RN Educator and ADON-Educator, you will partner with nursing leadership to align education with facility goals, support recruitment efforts, and bring engaging employee programs to life while promoting exceptional resident care.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervision and teaching concepts.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and regulations.
• Strong communication with staff, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate clinical education programs and in-service trainings.
• Assess educational needs and design training to boost competency.
• Maintain documentation for training, competencies, and attendance.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to align education with goals and quality outcomes.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding activities for prospective staff.
• Support staff engagement and recognition activities.
• Model exceptional customer service and teamwork across departments.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to staff to foster growth.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives through education-based solutions.
• Keep current on clinical standards and regulatory changes.
