Job summary

Clinton Place is seeking an RN ADON-Educator to join our team. You will mentor and develop nursing staff, coordinate education programs, and ensure regulatory compliance to uphold high standards of care.

As a nurse leader, you will support the Director of Nursing, oversee in-service training, and promote a positive, collaborative environment for residents and staff alike. Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing is preferred, with a valid RN license and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license and strong supervisory/teaching experience.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing preferred.
• Ability to care for residents with age-related needs.
• Strong teamwork and communication with staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Director of Nursing with planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating the nursing service department, and its programs.
• Develop, maintain, and update written policies and procedures governing day-to-day nursing functions.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Determine staffing needs of the nursing service department.
• Supervise and assist scheduling of employees within state guidelines.
• Ensure direct nursing care is provided by licensed staff and aides.
• Review nurses’ notes for accuracy and resident response to care.
• Incorporate training materials into in-service programs.
• Lead in creating goals for the in-service educational programs.
