Job summary

Hospice & Community Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Admissions team on a hospital-based, full-time basis. The role covers day shift with 12-hour shifts and biweekly pay periods, including weekend and holiday coverage as described.

The RN will handle nursing care, respond to inquiries and referrals, and support patients and families within our end-of-life care mission. The position requires Pennsylvania RN licensure and a preference for 1 year of recent nursing

Qualifications

• PA RN license required or RN license with eligibility to practice in PA.
• 1 year of RN experience in the last 4 years preferred.
• Full-time day shift orientation: 5–6 weeks.
• Hospice experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services to patients on the Admissions team.
• Respond to inquiries and referrals from patients and families.
• Address urgent and ongoing needs for patients and caregivers; align with organization’s mission.
