Job summary

Hospice of Central PA is seeking an experienced RN to join the Admissions team in the Harrisburg area. The role is Day Shift, with Full-Time (80 hrs per biweekly pay period) or Part-Time options, and schedules of 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm. The position involves community visits and coordinating patient care from referrals and inquiries.

You will provide nursing services, support caregivers, and help sustain our mission of compassionate end-of-life care. Orientation is 5–6 weeks for this role.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Pennsylvania (PA).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the last 4 years preferred.
• Must be able to complete 5–6 weeks of a FT, day shift orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services to patients and address urgent and ongoing needs for patients and caregivers.
• Respond to inquiries and referrals from the admissions team and community.
• Support and enhance the organization's mission and philosophy, promoting excellence in end-of-life care.

Admissions team

Option 1

Full-Time (1.0 or 80hrs. per biweekly pay period)

Day Shift, 8 hr. shifts

8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm

Weekends: Every 4- 6 weekend

Holidays: One every 1 - 2 years

Option 2

PT9 or 72 hrs. per biweekly pay period

Day Shift, 12 hr. shifts

8am - 8:30pm

Weekends: Every 4- 6 weekend

Holidays - One every 1-2 years

This role is out in the community seeing patients

Seeking an experienced RN to work day shift on our Admissions team. Provides nursing services, responds to inquiries and referrals, and addresses urgent and ongoing needs for patients and caregivers; in addition, the RN supports and enhances the organizational mission and philosophy, promoting excellence in end of life care.
