StoneCrest Center in Detroit is seeking a dedicated Admissions RN for a full-time, day-shift role (7:00am-3:30pm) to support the admissions process for adolescents, adults, and seniors with behavioral health needs. You will review referrals and medical information, coordinate care with medical and psychiatric staff, and ensure timely pre-authorization for treatment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical or observational setting.
• Active nursing license in the state where employed.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
• First aid certification may be required depending on state/facility.

Responsabilités

• Review medical documentation for admissions and obtain admission orders.
• Facilitate emergency transfers for patients when needed.
• Review referrals and assess medical/behavioral acuity within timeframes.
• Coordinate pre-admission assessments and pre-authorization for treatment.
• Admit patients and maintain accurate medical records and payor information.
