Job summary

StoneCrest Center in Detroit, MI is seeking a full-time RN House Supervisor for inpatient psychiatric nursing, working nights. This role leads patient care coordination and ensures safety and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise nursing staff, administer medications, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, while upholding compassionate, trauma-informed care in a dynamic behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current, unrestricted RN license (or eligibility to practice) in the state of employment.
• At least one year of nursing experience; behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification and willingness to complete de-escalation and restraint training.
• First Aid certification, as required by state or facility guidelines.
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to documentation, and the ability to remain calm and therapeutic in behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ behavioral and physical health needs and deliver compassionate, trauma-informed nursing care.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing treatment plans throughout the continuum of care.
• Safely administer medications, including behavioral health and detox protocols, with accurate documentation and controlled substance tracking.
• Monitor patient status on an ongoing basis and communicate significant behavioral or medical changes to providers and the care team.
• Educate patients and families, maintain compliant medical records, and adhere to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Establish therapeutic, professional relationships while collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support patient recovery.

StoneCrest Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse, RN House Supervisor (Inpatient Psychiatric Nursing) to join the team in Detroit, MI.

Our programming addresses behavioral and mental health concerns, as well as co-occurring substance use disorders (SUD).

Shift Availability

Full-time / Nights: 7:00p.m. - 7:30a.m. (every other weekend rotation)

What You'll Do

What You Bring
