Job summary

Atrium Health in High Point is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to plan, organize, and supervise nursing care during assigned evening shifts. The role requires leadership, clinical expertise, and a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, guiding staff during rounds, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies. A nursing degree and valid RN license are required, with 3+ years of experience and BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Three years clinical experience with demonstrated clinical expertise and management abilities.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises safe, efficient, and economical nursing care in compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies and procedures, and regulatory agency requirements.
• Assess delivery of patient care, teach patients/families, identify problems, and implement improvements.
• Interface between patient, physician, and family; advocate for patient needs.
• Provide leadership for staff and coordinate communication between nursing and other departments.
• Interpret and implement hospital policies for personnel, patients and families.
