Job summary

University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health is seeking a RN Administrative Coordinator for night shifts (7pm–7:30am) to join the Nursing Leadership Council. You will coordinate staffing and patient care, provide supervision, and support goals across nursing services.

The role requires an RN license in Maryland, Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred), and BCLS certification, with ACLS or coronary care experience preferred. Three years in acute care and leadership exposure are desired.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Currently licensed as an RN in Maryland.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS or coronary care course preferred.
• Minimum of three years' experience in an acute care facility; one year leadership preferred.
• Proven clinical competence and understanding of standards of care for all ages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and patient care across shifts.
• Provide clinical supervision by being a resource for nursing staff.
• Promote positive working relationships in the absence of Directors/Managers.
• Support adherence to Nursing and Hospital objectives and standards of care.
• Demonstrate strong communication and prioritization in a fast-paced hospital setting.
