Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises hospital activities in the absence of administrative personnel.
• Gathers staffing information and prioritizes unit needs.
• Updates staffing systems and coordinates temporary staff.
• Adjusts and floats nurses to maintain optimal staffing.
• Collaborates with Unit Secretaries and Nurses; guides charging RNs.
• Oversees bed assignments and patient triage to appropriate units.
• Directs patient flow improvements and resolves off-hour issues.
