Job summary

Proforma Health Inc. seeks an experienced RN for a fast-paced, 35-bed Observation Unit providing acute care for diverse patient populations, including cardiac, surgical, and behavioral health cases.

Patients typically stay 24-48 hours. The team works closely with physicians and ancillary staff to ensure optimal outcomes, supported by a unit-based educator, nurse supervisors, charge nurses, and a discharge nurse.

Qualifications

• RN license and BLS certification (within 30 days).
• Over 1 year of nursing experience.
• Proficiency with telemetry, IV management, and patient connection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive assessments and developing individualized care plans
• Implementing and adjusting nursing interventions based on patient response
• Accurate documentation of care and compliance with departmental standards
• Monitoring IV sites, starting IVs, and maintaining safety protocols
• Communicating effective with team members and reporting safety concerns
• Participating in staff meetings and contributing to professional growth
