Job summary

ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital Riverside in Perris, CA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care within the nursing process. The role involves coordinating with physicians, supervisors and other staff, and participating in discharge planning.

The candidate should have nursing education completion, valid RN license, BCLS, and ACLS preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age and condition.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use hospital information systems.
• Able to organize tasks, set priorities and work under stress.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team for patient care and discharge planning.
• Fluent in reading/writing/speaking English; reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care following the nursing process.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans in coordination with patients and families.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and team.
• Administer medications following five rights and document accordingly.
• Participate in discharge planning and interdepartmental collaboration.
