Job summary

Kindred Hospital Riverside in Perris, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process. You will collaborate with physicians, support staff and families to develop and implement care plans.

The role requires clinical assessment, timely interventions, medication administration, discharge planning, and adherence to safety standards. California RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Six months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans with patient and family.
• Administer medications following the five rights of medication administration.
• Document care, assessments, and care plans accurately.
• Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Ensure patient safety and liaise with physicians and staff.
