Job summary

Kindred Hospital Riverside, part of ScionHealth, seeks a Nursing Assistant to support professional nursing staff in a 40-bed long-term acute care setting in Perris, CA. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, document care, and help with admissions, transfers, and discharge under RN supervision.

Required: Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS; six months of acute or long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Good attendance and reliability are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Able to organize tasks and work under stress.
• Team collaboration with nursing staff and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with patient care in assigned area.
• Help patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Record vital signs and document accurately.
• Provide for patient comfort and safety and respond to calls.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures.
