Job summary

ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital Rancho in Rancho Cucamonga is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. The role emphasizes discharge planning, collaboration with physicians, and care coordination across interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Six months of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred.
• Postsecondary nursing education from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Directs, supervises, provides and evaluates nursing care.
• Assists with discharge planning and patient education.
• Transcribes physician orders accurately and documents in medical records.
• Develops and updates patient care plans with the team.
• Manages pain assessment and relief strategies.
• Maintains patient safety and reduces clinical errors.
