ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital Brea is hiring a Registered Nurse to plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process. You will develop care plans with patient and family, communicate changes to physicians and staff, and participate in discharge planning.

The role requires current RN licensure, BSN or ADN, BCLS (ACLS preferred), and at least six months of medical/surgical acute care experience.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited BSN.
• ADN or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum six months medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting.

Aufgaben

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process.
• Develops nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communicates changes in patient condition with physicians, nursing supervisor/manager, and co-workers.
• Participates in discharge planning process.
• Administers medications using the five rights of medication administration.
• Formulates a teaching plan and educates patient and family.
