Job summary

FutureCare seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver resident care in a Baltimore facility, driving assessment, planning and evaluation of nursing actions. You will review records and referrals to ensure care plans align with guidelines and physician orders are implemented accurately.

Ideal candidates hold Maryland RN licensure, CPR certification, and have 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in acute or long-term care settings. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in Maryland.
• Preferred: 1 year of nursing experience.
• Must possess a current CPR license.
• Previous experience caring for residents in acute or long‑term health care facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within state and federal guidelines.
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems to ensure they are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans.
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met.
• Implement physicians’ orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels.
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility.
