Job summary

FutureCare in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct resident care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will review records for compliance and execute physician orders while maintaining high standards of quality and compassion.

The role requires an active Maryland RN license and CPR certification; one year of nursing experience is preferred, and prior LTC/acute care experience is a plus. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license in the state of Maryland.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus.
• Must possess a current CPR license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
• Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility
