FutureCare in Baltimore is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality resident care in a leading healthcare facility. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines and collaborating with the care team to meet each resident’s needs.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license is required.
• CPR certification current and valid.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred, especially in acute or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Review resident records to ensure nursing practice meets state and federal guidelines.
• Evaluate referrals for treatment and ensure alignment with nurse plans.
• Monitor resident responses to care and adjust plans as needed.
• Implement physician orders and nursing interventions as required.
• Pursue professional growth and expand responsibilities to maintain competency.
• Set goals and policies aligned with FutureCare’s facility philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
• Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
• Must possess a current CPR license
