Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our skilled nursing team. You will assist in delivering resident care, review medical records, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

The role requires an active Maryland RN license and CPR certification, with at least one year of nursing experience preferred. The position offers a competitive hourly rate ($36.00–$44.00) with shift differentials and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
• Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
• Must possess a current CPR license
