Job summary

Empath Health's Trustbridge Hospice in Boca Raton is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Care Center, delivering end-of-life care with dignity and comfort on a schedule of 3 days, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, including weekends.

As an RN in the inpatient unit, you will coordinate patient and family care with the core medical team, perform thorough assessments, ensure timely interventions, monitor conditions, and provide education that improves quality of life for patients and

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• One year in public health, home nursing care, oncology nursing, medical/surgical nursing, geriatric nursing or Hospice nursing preferred.
• Understanding of and ability to apply characteristics of Hospice Nursing: case management, crisis intervention, communication skills, teaching skills, thanatology skills and needs
• Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus.
• Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance and valid Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient and family care in collaboration with the primary physician and interdisciplinary team (IDG)
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient and family needs
• Ensure timely and coordinated delivery of interventions and services outlined in the care plan
• Use your clinical expertise to monitor patient conditions, provide interventions, and deliver education that enhances comfort and quality of life
• Address concerns promptly and thoughtfully to ensure a high level of satisfaction and trust

What You'll Need
