Job summary

Waterford Nursing & Rehabilitation Center seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to care for patients, educate families on prevention, and provide high-quality nursing care with compassion. You will follow health and safety guidelines faithfully while promoting patient well-being.

You will monitor conditions, design care plans with physicians, administer medications, and uphold hygiene and safety standards. Roles include full-time, part-time, and per diem with shifts from 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• Positions available: full-time, part-time and per diem.
• Shifts: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, injections, etc.) and document in patients’ charts
• Adjust and administer medications per physician’s orders
• Inspect facilities and maintain hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, beds)
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Supervise and train LPNs
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and families
