Job summary

Lakes at Lutz Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, this role supervises nursing personnel and oversees daily nursing activities during assigned shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a).

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience.
• One year of management experience preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics or subacute care.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns and improve services.
• Identify problems or potential issues in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
• Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Assist in developing methods to coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
