Job summary

Episcopal Homes of Minnesota, located in St. Paul, is seeking an RN to join our Nursing team on the TCU floor.

You will administer medications, assess resident health, and develop care plans tailored to long-term needs in a vibrant community with memory care and skilled nursing services. You will supervise caregiving staff, collaborate with physicians and therapists, and ensure accurate documentation within EMR systems while contributing to infection control and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Ability to work within federally funded healthcare programs.
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Assess residents’ physical, mental, and emotional health needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to support long-term resident needs.
• Supervise and support caregiving staff, ensuring care strategies are followed.
• Advocate for residents’ best interests and educate families, caregivers, and residents on care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare providers to coordinate care and services.
• Monitor and document resident conditions; report changes to providers and families promptly.
• Ensure nursing documentation is accurate and timely within EMR systems.
• Participate in infection control, quality assurance, and compliance initiatives.
• Foster a resident-centered care environment that promotes dignity and well-being.
