Job summary

Episcopal Homes is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team at our Saint Paul campus. You will administer medications, assess residents, and develop individualized care plans for long-term needs.

You will supervise caregiving staff and coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other providers. The role requires an active MN RN license, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work in federally funded healthcare programs.
• Strong communication, assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Assess residents’ physical, mental, and emotional health needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to support long-term resident needs.
• Supervise and support caregiving staff, ensuring care strategies are followed.
• Advocate for residents’ best interests and educate families, caregivers, and residents on care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare providers to coordinate care and services.
• Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes to providers and families.
• Ensure nursing documentation is accurate and timely within EMR systems.
• Participate in infection control, quality assurance, and compliance initiatives.
• Foster a supportive, resident-centered environment that promotes dignity and well-being.
