Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Per Diem day shifts (8:30am – 5:00pm) at the Dartmouth, MA Pre-Admission Testing site. The role focuses on coordinating nursing care, patient education, and collaboration with the care team to uphold high nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; RN licensure in MA required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Three months of experience preferred.
• Experience in pre-admission testing preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal flu and COVID-19 or eligible for exemption with signed statement.

Hours:Per Diem

Shift: Day shift; 8:30am - 5:00pm; 1-3 days per week depending on PAT work needs.

Location: Pre-Admission Testing – Dartmouth, MA

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Three (3) months experience is preferred.
• Experience in pre-admission testing preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $42.37 - USD $77.81 /Hr.
