Job summary

Southcoast Health in Tiverton, RI is seeking a skilled LPN Staff for per diem day shifts in Primary Care. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and support patient education under the supervision of the nursing leadership.

Applicants must be a licensed practical nurse in MA or RI, with BLS, and experience with EHR. This per diem role offers flexible hours, competitive pay, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable.
• One year or more experience in related setting preferred.
• Current LPN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties involving direct patient care, such as medication administration, patient and family teaching, and testing/procedures.
• Utilize an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and related software to update or access patient information.
• Provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.
• Work cooperatively with nursing and other patient team personnel.

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Director, Manager or designee. Perform a variety of duties involving direct patient care, such as medication administration, patient and family teaching, and testing/procedures in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols and within the scope of practical nursing. Utilize an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other related software to update or access patient information as appropriate. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. Works cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable.
• One year or more experience in related setting preferred.
• Current LPN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $28.66 - USD $44.60 /Hr.
