Job summary

Asbury Communities is seeking an RN for a senior living care setting in Pennsylvania. The role involves providing individualized nursing care, transcribing orders, and promptly notifying physicians of changes in resident status.

You will lead CNAs/LPNs, ensure compliance with all policies, complete admissions paperwork, and administer medications and treatments as needed. PA RN license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly ensuring telephone order forms are complete.
• Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.
• Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs; ensures that all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced.
• Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.
