Job summary

THOR Solutions, LLC seeks an Assistant ISSO/RMF Cybersecurity Analyst to support a USCG IT program in Suitland, MD. You will lead RMF activities, prepare and maintain security documentation, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with DHS, federal, and industry standards.

You will review system designs, assess data flows, and implement controls, while conducting certification testing, readiness reviews, and continuous monitoring activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, information systems, computer science, or related field.
• At least five years of IA and A&A experience, RMF involvement, and documentation.
• Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level 2 and IAM Level 2 certifications required (listed in job ad).

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Assistant ISSO (A-ISSO) for RMF across programs/systems.
• Gather and maintain RMF documentation packages (SSP, SAR, POA&Ms, etc.).
• Ensure cybersecurity documentation is current and accessible to authorized personnel.
• Interpret designs/diagrams to identify data interconnections and select appropriate controls.
• Develop plans and perform testing/compliance assessments.
• Conduct STIG/SRG assessments and SRR for OS/apps.
• Perform system scans and provide results to stakeholders.
• Prepare security assessment briefs and risk recommendations for authorizing officials.
• Assist with security control implementation and policy SOPs for accreditation.
