Job summary

THOR Solutions is hiring an Assistant ISSO/RMF Cybersecurity Analyst in Suitland, MD to support a USCG IT program security and data management, ensuring RMF compliance across systems. You will prepare and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs, and continuous monitoring artifacts, and assist in selecting controls to mitigate risk.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance eligibility, five years of IA/A&A experience, and collaboration with ISSOs and system owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in data science, information systems, computer science, or a related discipline.
• At least five (5) years of Information Assurance and A&A experience, including assessment of information system vulnerabilities and RMF process participation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Assistant Information System Security Officer (A-ISSO) and participate in the RMF process for assigned programs, organizations, systems, or enclaves.
• Gather, assess, and maintain RMF documentation packages (SSP, SAR, POA&Ms, continuous monitoring, etc.).
• Conduct STIG/SRG assessments and SRRs for OS and applications, and support authorization decisions.
• Assist with security control implementation, policy development, and SOPs for accreditation.
