Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is assisting a client in Anderson, Indiana, seeking a Foundry Supervisor to lead RMF foundry operations with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

The role involves guiding daily production, establishing priorities on the shop floor, and ensuring adherence to procedures and PPE requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership, foundry experience, and the ability to drive improvements across safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience in manufacturing.
• Foundry, melting, casting, metals, or heavy-manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a foundry environment involving heat, noise, molten metal, moving equipment, and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily foundry production activities and employees.
• Provide clear work assignments, priorities, and real-time direction on the production floor.
• Ensure employees follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, work instructions, and company policies.
• Monitor melting, pouring, material handling, and other foundry operations to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
• Track and respond to production performance including output, downtime, scrap, yield, and labor utilization; coordinate with Maintenance and Quality to resolve issues.
