Job summary

ProSync is seeking an experienced Assessment Lead to oversee independent testing and evaluation of security controls, validating posture and assurance across RMF processes.

You will lead assessment teams, perform interviews, SP 800-53A test cases, and produce formal SARs and findings to support DoD and IC programs, with eligibility for top secret clearance and a strong commitment to mission success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years RMF assessment experience.
• Familiarity with SP 800-53A, assessment test cases, and evidence evaluation.
• Experience producing SARs, worksheets, and risk ratings.
• CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification required.
• CEH or equivalent Pen Testing certification required.
• A minimum Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment teams and ensure rigorous evaluation of controls.
• Lead control assessments, interviews, sampling procedures, and technical validation activities.
• Produce SARs, test procedures, risk ratings, and summary findings.
• Coordinate with ISSO Support for cross‑department alignment.
• Oversee artifact evaluation and evidence tracking.
