Job summary

Omniscius Consulting is seeking a SecurityControl Assessor in Arlington, VA, on site, to evaluate security controls and support RMF implementation for a critical IC mission. You will perform assessments using automated tools, authoring SARs, SAPs, and plans of action & milestones, collaborating with senior leadership.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI with CI Polygraph and 6–10 years of related experience, with expertise in RMF, NIST 800-series guidelines,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum 6–10 years of experience
• Must possess active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI with CI Polygraph
• DOD 8140 IAM Level II (CAP, CASP, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO) is required

Responsibilities

• Advise the Information System Owner (ISO) on impact levels for CIA for information on systems
• Ensure security assessments are completed for each IS
• Initiate a POA&M with identified weaknesses and suspense dates
• Evaluate security assessment docs and provide recommendations for security authorization to CISO/AO
• Assess proposed changes to IS and environment that could affect authorization
• Serve as cybersecurity advisor to CISO/AO
• Contribute to development of monitoring strategy conforming to DoD RMF strategies
• Determine and document risk levels for noncompliant controls in the SAR
• Determine SAR aggregate risk and identify key risk drivers
• Develop a continuous monitoring plan for the information system
