Summary of Job Duties: The position coordinates and evaluates all elements of financial, material, and human resources for the business division of Perioperative, Interventional and Imaging Services. This position will serve as a liaison between Division Managers, and Perioperative Finance and Administration. The position will oversee Instrument/equipment tracking software (i.e. Censitrac), property, purchasing, and loss control and asset management. Establishes policies and procedures that govern the business operations with an emphasis on loss control and appropriate supply of instrument and scope inventory/equipment. Responsible for evaluating damaged instrumentation to determine if repairs or replacement are appropriate. Coordinates with vendors and contractors to ensure that repairs are made in a timely and efficient manner. Assess the life cycles of instrumentation/equipment and conduct cost analysis to ensure that appropriate instrument costs are covered in procedural billing. Works closely with members of Institutional Security and Support Services Asset Protection department to track and investigate loss of instrumentation and equipment.
