Job summary

AMETEK Programmable Power seeks an RMA Technician to perform tests on production units, troubleshoot analog and digital circuitry, and recommend repairs to restore functionality. The role operates on 1st shift with weekday hours and some overtime as needed.

The position emphasizes hands-on testing, calibration, and documenting test outcomes to support high-quality power solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in a manufacturing/test environment.
• Electronic Technician Certificate or AS Degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and access export-controlled information and source code.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various standard and specialized test equipment.
• Calibrate, align, and perform final functional test for each unit for shipment.
• Log production test data including model, serial, test status, and failures.
• Diagnose defects and determine causes; document defects for reproducibility.
• Troubleshoot circuits down to component level (analog and digital).
• Report trends in failures and initiate root-cause investigations.
• Ensure product complies with specifications and cosmetic requirements.
